Its been a long break!

Hi everyone!


It has been a very long time that Ive last post here and I decided to come back to my dear fashion blog, Stylison to blog about my loves on fashion again!

Although I have not blogged for a long time, my love for shopping is always the same! I will find time for myself [at least once in a week] to splurge on my temptations and buy beautiful apparels that I have been fantasizing about. Its just that I have no time to blog all my splurges and the things I love about fashion.... that are my excuses! 

Here are my latest shopping splurge:

ALDO loafers!!! 

It is like love at first sight when I saw this pair of loafers! Its yellow is bright in colour and when it fits my wardrobe staple, and I got this pretty loafers.

My little Pony phone dustcaps!!!

Having Dustcaps on phone is a fashion statement to make and it is trending right here in Singapore. It comes in all kinds of shapes and adorable patterns.

My 'dustcaps craze' right now, is My little Pony dustcaps! They are so adorable! As a child, I have My Little Pony toys and I would comb their mane and play with them, and now having this dustcaps brought back happy childhood memories for me. I bought many MLP dustcaps and selling some online.

Inspiration

It has been a long long time since I last updated Stylison.Often, excuses swamped up to me and I just gave in it to the temptation of updating Stylison the next day. I realize that recently, many fashion bloggers updated their fashion blogs less frequent as compared to the past few months. From my view, updating blogs about our fashion loves and what not should come from us as passion rather than a trend to follow. I hope that there are many fashionista update their blogs on daily basis and continue to inspire others on fashion.




I came across one of the posts on Stockholm Streestyle and I am awed by it. I always think that wearing flower prints together in same outfit comes together clashy. When I saw this photo, it proved me otherwise. Natalia Alaverdian pulled off the look flower prints perfectly and this inspired me. Hope that her look inspires you too!

The Summer- The Autumn

Lately, I paid more attention to what colours I wore on my nails.


For my nails, I want to add in some fun by painting bright yellow and orange coats to signify the transition from Summer to Autumn.


As for my toes, I applied a layer of royal blue polish and along with one coat of OPI Go On Green and it turns out great!

Just as Simple as Summer

University has just started! Its the third day of my varsity life and I got to meet new people, make friends. Long hours of lectures takes up lots of energy and I have to absorb all the concepts like a sponge that were taught during lectures.

The fun part of varsity life to meet is get to meet more new friends.

The outfit photos were taken some time ago when I went to my friend's high school drama. The play was Fantastic and I feel that it match up to the plays outside.

It is fun to play denim with floral together this summer.

Crosses and Strips

This is the Second outfit I took during my first photo shoot some time ago. I looked through my albums and decided to post it up here on Stylison. Lately, I experimented with the galaxy photoshop tool and edited lots of photos.I have applied the galaxy photoshop tool in some photos posted up here. I had lots of fun playing with tool, and love the sparkles added on my photos.

I have to give credits to Drew and Hong An for doing the photo shoot for me.I had lots of fun working with you guys and looking forward to the next one!

I turned to comfortable clothes and more simplistic styles of apparels. It is really hot here during this summer and I just feel like wearing simple clothes without thinking much on what design or style should I wear. It saves me a lot of time thinking. I realize that other fashion bloggers turn to minimalist style clothings too. I guess minimalism style is here to stay.

It has been a long time

New shoes :) All bought from New Look

I bought this blouse from Zara and it's my favourite and it caught my eyes because of its beautifully printed Datamation spots on it!

New sunglasses for me... with grey leopard prints on it!

It has been a long hiatus! I was busy with work matters and didnt have much time to update Stylison. I did took photos of my outfits, but I just could not pull out the extra time to update Stylison. I have not forgetten Stylison as it still remains one of the channels for me to express myself creatively.

Here are the photos of my latest loots. In Singapore, we are having the annual Great Singapore Sales. I am starting to hunt for new items to restock into my wardrobe and ready to shop till I drop!

Stylison First Anniversary: First Photo Shoot

This is my very first photo shoot! It was taken by Drew and his assistant, Hong An. I was excited the day before the shoot! The whole process from picking clothes to posing on the shoot is a great experience. The whole team put so much effort in and the end product of the shoot is amazing!

On the day, I brought bags of clothes, accessories and shoes with me, and not forgetting to bring an army of makeup, facial tissues. I woke up at 5 am in the morning to get ready and leave my house to meet my Team.

My friend brought us to this place with abandoned houses near Dempsey Road. The sun was up and the shoot began.

I wore the ASOS Grecian dress as a top. It is a toga dress, but it looks better if I pair it with a skirt. Really love this dress!

It was a great experience and I love to do more shoots in the future to be posted on Stylison =)

OPI Silver Shatter Nail Polish

The OPI Silver Shatter is one of favourite Nail Polish. After the successful launched of OPI Black Shatter Nail Polish, I am excited on the launch of OPI Silver Shatter Nail Polish along with the Pirates of Caribbean Collection.

Unlike the Black Shatter, the Silver Shatter Nail Polish does not work well for lights shades of base coat. It works better on darker shades of base coats. I tried it on red base coat on my nails.

I went for photo shoot today with my friends and the end product turned out awesome! The team put in lots of efforts on the shoot but it is definitely worth the time!

1 year has passed

My loots for the past week :)

I just realised that one year has passed, and its Stylison's first year Anniversary.

I decided to do something a little different this year. I will be working with my friend, Drew and a team of people for photo shoots, and the photos taken will be published on Stylison!

I am looking forward to the shoot!

New Loots

This set of photos taken on a different occasion recently and it was not taken on 29 January 2011.

I went to Valentino, retrospective: Past / Present/ Future with my friend.He took these beautiful photos with his DSLR.[Credits to him!] Its an exhibition of Valentino's and his team's hardwork over decades in creating magnificent clothes for women. Every piece has its beauty and uniqueness. Amazing indeed!
